About me
Thanks for stopping by to check out my profile. You are taking a big, bold step in hoping to have life make more sense; find ways to be fully and authentically the person you know you are; and gain more clarity and agency in the world around you. It can be daunting, but in my therapeutic practice I will always remind you that this is a journey where you are not alone.
My practice integrates an emphasis on your strengths, a belief that change is possible, and a perspective of how wonder and imagination are powerful healing tools. My experience is informed by working with communities and individuals as a deeply compassionate, invested support in their well being. Besides my clinical experience, I also bring my deep roots in Franciscan spirituality… which emphasizes how you vitally play a powerful and meaningful role in understanding yourself and your community. It is all about a process of becoming. I believe “change” is both liberating and sometimes slow, but the best change is possible because it is collaborative, transformative, and intentional.
For over thirty years, I have specialized in supporting clients through a spectrum of life transitions, new life realities, and becoming the best version of themselves. The collaborative therapeutic work we undertake will find many ways of reaching your personal and relational goals by using an integrated lens of your natural strengths, how you have engaged life's ups and downs, what gives you meaning, and from where you draw inspiration. I believe you have the answers within you and it is our work to find them through exploration and wonder.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Work in the State of New York. I hold a degree of Master of Social Work from The Catholic University of America; a Master of Divinity from Yale University; and a Bachelor of Arts from Villanova University. I have written and publicly spoken on Franciscan spirituality; anti racism and the Beloved Community; and LGBTQ+ issues.
