About me

I am a Queer Somatic EMDR therapist who is dedicated to creating a new grounded existence with my clients.

I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with over a decade of experience and the owner of a private Telehealth practice dedicated to serving individuals navigating anxiety, stress, trauma, work challenges, and relationship concerns.

As a queer, married person myself, I understand the layers of identity, visibility, and intersectionality that shape our experiences. My lived experience allows me to approach each client with deep empathy and curiosity — especially when your story differs from my own. Therapy with me is never about judgment. It’s about understanding.

My work centers on helping you build insight and strengthen mind–body awareness. I integrate somatic approaches with EMDR (Level 1 trained through The Center for excellence in EMDR Therapy) to support both processing specific events and creating more spaciousness around difficult emotional states. Together, we don’t rush to eliminate feelings — we build the capacity to sit with them safely.

Clients often tell me that our work helps them feel more connected to their daily emotional landscape and less afraid of what they find there. The truth, once understood, is often less scary than the avoidance of it.

I’m an engaged and active therapist. I go beyond reflective listening and “How does that make you feel?” I ask specific, sometimes hard questions. I offer feedback. I help you notice patterns. When something isn’t shifting, we get curious. Is this the real problem? What would grounding look like even if circumstances remain outside your control?

Because my practice is fully telehealth, clients are able to experience their feelings in their own environments — spaces that often hold more emotional truth than a therapy office. Many clients meet with me from their homes, offices, cars, or on lunch breaks. This accessibility allows therapy to integrate more directly into daily life, where the work truly happens.

Our goal isn’t just symptom reduction. It’s helping you separate your authentic beliefs and needs from the messages you’ve absorbed from family and society — and building the internal safety to live from that place.
