About me
My areas of speciality include: Depression, Anxiety, Narcissistic Abuse and Antagonistic Relationships, Eating Disorders (and disordered eating), and trauma. I work with pre and adolescents, individuals, couples and families. Last, I am a fluent Spanish-speaker, and bicultural.
I believe in a collaborative approach to treatment. It is a privilege to be trusted with personal matters in an individual’s life. While I am dedicated to create a supportive atmosphere and therapeutic relationship, I see my job as a therapist is to bring awareness to patterns that may not working for the person, provide with psycho-education about pertaining topic, and equip the person with skills to help them succeed as they move forward in their life.
Also, I understand that while therapy is a very much needed service, finances can deter someone from accessing the right service. I am signed up with Mentaya, a platform that can assist with the process of requesting and processing reimbursement. The average person may get from 50-80% back, depending on their insurance, and it tends to take about three weeks to process.
