About me
Compassionate PMHNP-BC specializing in supportive, non-judgmental care for individuals managing depression, anxiety, PTSD, and substance use disorders.
About Me
As a bilingual (English/Spanish) Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC), I am committed to providing equitable and compassionate care to residents throughout California. With 11 years of clinical experience, including eight years with the California Department of Corrections and five years in inpatient substance use recovery, I have supported a diverse range of individuals, from first responders to those experiencing homelessness, through mental health crises, PTSD, and dual-diagnosis challenges.
My Approach to Care
My practice is grounded in the principles of dignity, safety, and equity. I honor each patient’s unique identity, values, and religious beliefs, creating a non-judgmental space conducive to healing. During our initial consultation, we will thoroughly assess your history and objectives to determine the most suitable course of action. I employ Motivational Interviewing (MI) to explore your concerns and empower behavior modification, in conjunction with a variety of evidence-based modalities tailored to your specific needs:
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT) & Trauma-Focused therapy
Integrative & Holistic approaches
Mindfulness-Based (MBCT) & Person-Centered care
Psychodynamic & Psychoanalytic perspectives
Statewide Virtual Healthcare
I offer comprehensive, HIPAA-compliant telehealth services, facilitating access to expert care for all California residents—from the North Coast to the Mexican border. Whether you require medication management or psychotherapy for depression, anxiety, ADHD, or substance use disorders, personalized care is readily available.
