About me
Feeling overwhelmed? Anxious? Depressed? .... I can help. My name is Wayne Bills, a licensed therapist (LMFT) based in North Carolina. If you are looking for someone who can guide you through a change process, and you are ready to do what it takes, let's talk about your needs, challenges and goals.
I have helped clients with a variety of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems and career challenges. I have also helped people who deal with the pain of physical trauma, emotional abuse, personal grief and low self-worth.
It’s not easy to share the most personal thoughts, challenges and emotions in your life. I can make that easier. My clients appreciate the calm, respectful approach I use in our sessions. Listening is my most important therapeutic skill. You need someone who, first and foremost, takes the time to understand.
My approach to therapy is holistic; each dimension of your life is important. I use a combination of cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, and problem solving to help guide you through a process of change. Affixing a label or passing judgment is not the goal. Instead, helping you find answers and overcoming the issues that have brought you to this point? That's the goal.
Congratulations on having the courage to be here. I look forward to working with you.
