About me

Life can deliver unexpected blows, leaving us on the ground. I understand—I've been there. The key lies in rising, in putting in the effort to grow stronger.

Begin a healing journey with me, a Compassionate Mental Health Counselor in training, armed with a Master's in Counseling. I specialize in individual, family, and group therapy, creating judgment-free spaces.

Leveraging my School Counselor experience, I address academic, personal, and social concerns. Proficient in crisis intervention and collaboration. As a devoted NAMI volunteer, my passion for mental health advocacy shines. Choose a counselor committed to community service and professional growth. Access affordable counseling with sliding scale options.

I am a dedicated professional with a strong educational foundation and a passion for helping individuals overcome challenges to achieve their goals. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Criminology and Sociology from the University of Missouri-St. Louis (2006), a Master’s in Human Resources Management (2009), and a Master’s in Counseling (2023) from Lindenwood University.

As a Provisionally Licensed Counselor, I bring a client-focused approach, using a holistic method that addresses present issues while setting future goals. My philosophy emphasizes building upon personal strengths to achieve balance in life and foster positive change.

In addition to counseling, I have engaged with non-profit organizations, high schools, universities, and churches, developing assessments, service plans, and fostering community partnerships. My expertise includes personal growth coaching, service/action plans, and facilitating seminars on communication, anger management, and conflict resolution.

I am a member of the American Counseling Association, a NAMI facilitator, and a panelist for Father Support and Family Center, demonstrating my commitment to mental health advocacy and community support.

With my unique combination of education, experience, and genuine care, I guide individuals towards transformative change, providing the tools and support for a better quality of life.
