I specialize in working with clients affected by addiction or codependency and resultant anxiety, depression, grief, or isolation.

I've lived with and worked with addiction, codependency, recovery, and experienced the many miraculous life changes that therapy and recovery can bring about. Working with clients in long term recovery or those who are questioning their relationship with addictive substances is a challenge where I have particular skills. My practice is grounded in spiritual principles, but is not religious. We can talk in person (if you're fully vaccinated against COVID) or online (HIPAA compliant platform which is easy to use) or if you're not computer savvy, by phone. I've discovered that effective therapy can be accomplished using any of these methods.
I am familiar with various cultures, and can assist with adjustment and anxiety after moving to a different stage in life, type of living arrangement, state, or country.
My therapy style is essentially cognitive behavioral, with some creative techniques added as appropriate. I will listen to your story and help you understand how it may be affecting your life today. Laughter in our work together is always a shared delight. Therapy is a completely confidential matter, except as a life might be endangered or as legally obligated.
