About me
Expert treatment for depression, anxiety, and working through challenging life transitions. Specialization in Health Psychology and adjustment to medical conditions, pain, disability, and injury.
I am NOT a lay-on-my-couch-and-tell-me-how-you-feel therapist. We will talk about the real issues, problem solve, and identify solutions so you can feel better inside and out. You will leave sessions with results and ready to face challenges. Wouldn't it be great to stop feeling stuck and have the energy to move forward? I provide a safe and supportive space for you to get the help you need. Together, we collaborate on setting and achieving treatment goals so you can overcome obstacles, calm emotions and thoughts, and work through pain using science-based strategies. You will leave every session with strategies. Positive change awaits.
I have a dual PhD in Clinical and Biological-Health Psychology. As such, I have expertise in Mental Health, specifically in helping clients heal from Depression, Anxiety, and Life Transitions involving trauma, grief and loss, family situations, and job or school challenges. I also have specialized training in Health Psychology to help clients living with medical conditions, disability, injuries, and pain, as well as with those who care for them.
Don’t struggle alone another day, please visit my website to learn more about me and my services. There, you can also schedule a free 30-minute consultation so we can discuss your needs. I offer convenient evening and weekend hours. Clients say my empathy, understanding, and sense of humor make therapy with me a safe and productive experience. We'll find real solutions to your struggles and see real results.
My services are self-pay, and I do not accept insurance. However, I do offer a sliding scale based on financial need. And, if you have out-of-network benefits, I can provide documentation for you to submit to your insurance for reimbursement.
