About me
"I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Registered Play Therapist who believes every child and family deserves a safe space to heal, grow, and be understood."
Victoria's career has taken beautifully varied forms, each rooted in the same purpose: helping people feel seen and understood. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Registered Play Therapist who believes every child and family deserves a safe space to heal, grow, and be understood.
My path into mental health began with internships at Hissom Memorial Center and Shadow Mountain Behavioral Health, experiences that shaped my deep commitment to supporting individuals through some of life's most challenging moments.
My career has taken beautifully varied forms, each rooted in the same purpose: helping people feel seen and understood. I spent time teaching in the private sector, where I partnered closely with fellow educators to build a deeper understanding of neurodivergence and championed creative, outside-the-box approaches to reach every learner. As a Court Appointed Special Advocate with Creek County CASA, I gave a voice to children in foster care, and through my work with Good Shepherd Hospice, I offered comfort and presence to individuals navigating their end-of-life journey.
Across every role, I bring the same steady compassion — meeting people exactly where they are, whether that's a child in my therapy office, a student who learns differently, or a family facing life's hardest transitions.
Today, my work focuses on helping children, teens, and their families navigate anxiety, trauma, and anger or behavioral challenges. I know that reaching out for support can feel overwhelming, whether you're a parent watching your child struggle or a teen trying to make sense of big feelings. My goal is to make that first step feel a little easier, and to walk alongside your family as you figure out what healing looks like together.
Children and teens don't always have the words to explain what they're feeling, and that's okay. I use play therapy and other developmentally appropriate approaches to meet kids where they are, creating a space where they can express themselves, process difficult experiences, and build the skills they need to feel more in control of their emotions. For families, I believe healing happens best in connection, so I work closely with parents and caregivers to strengthen communication, rebuild trust, and support lasting change at home.
Whether your family is dealing with the aftermath of a difficult experience, big emotions that feel hard to manage, or anxiety that's affecting daily life, you don't have to figure this out alone. I bring both clinical training and genuine care to my work, and I'm honored to be part of your family's journey toward feeling more connected, resilient, and at peace.
If you're wondering whether counseling is the right fit for your child or family, I'd love to talk with you. Reach out, and let's take that first step together.
