About me
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas with nearly 30 years of combined experience in education and mental health. I hold a Ph.D. in Counseling Education and Supervision from Walden University, as well as graduate degrees in Counseling and Educational Administration from Prairie View A\&M University. I am also a Certified Trauma and Resilience Practitioner.
My therapeutic approach is integrative, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Interpersonal Therapy, Mindfulness, Solution-Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. I incorporate Play and Art Therapy techniques when working with children. I specialize in working with individuals, couples, and families navigating depression, anxiety, trauma, and domestic violence.
My goal is to offer compassionate, evidence-based care that fosters resilience, emotional healing, and personal growth.
