About me
I am a compassionate, relational, and insight-oriented therapist dedicated to helping each person build emotional resilience, improve communication, strengthen relationships, and navigate life’s challenges with greater confidence, connection, and clarity.
I am a licensed therapist specializing in supporting individuals, couples, and families navigating anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, identity exploration, acculturation experiences, and postpartum adjustment. My work is centered on helping clients better understand the emotional and relational patterns that keep them feeling stuck, overwhelmed, disconnected, or uncertain about how to move forward.
I work with clients who are often carrying invisible emotional burdens—people who feel emotionally exhausted, disconnected in their relationships, overwhelmed by life transitions, or caught in recurring cycles of conflict, self-doubt, anxiety, or isolation. Together, we explore not only what is happening on the surface, but also the deeper emotional experiences, relational dynamics, cultural influences, and protective patterns underneath those struggles.
My approach is warm, collaborative, culturally responsive, and insight-oriented while still being active and engaging. I believe therapy should feel like a space where clients can safely slow down, feel understood, and begin making sense of patterns that may have developed over time through stress, relationships, family dynamics, trauma, cultural expectations, or major life transitions. I often help clients identify the cycles they find themselves repeating and support them in developing new ways of responding to themselves and others with greater clarity, flexibility, and self-compassion.
A central part of my work is helping clients reconnect with their own resilience and recognize the strengths, adaptability, and survival skills they may have lost sight of during difficult seasons of life. Rather than viewing clients through a deficit-based lens, I work to help them understand how many of their emotional responses and protective patterns developed for important reasons. Together, we build insight, emotional awareness, coping tools, and healthier relational experiences that allow clients to feel more empowered, grounded, and capable of navigating challenges with greater confidence and self-trust. I also focus on helping clients strengthen emotional resilience in practical ways—learning how to tolerate difficult emotions, navigate uncertainty, improve communication, establish boundaries, and respond to stress with greater intention instead of self-criticism or reactivity.
I frequently work with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, emotional burnout, identity-related stress, acculturation challenges, postpartum transitions, and difficulties navigating relationships or boundaries. I also support couples and families who feel stuck in recurring patterns of disconnection, miscommunication, emotional distance, or unresolved conflict, helping them move toward more emotionally safe, connected, and sustainable relationships.
Clients often describe my style as compassionate, grounded, thoughtful, and gently challenging. I strive to create an environment where people feel emotionally supported while also encouraged to deepen insight, build resilience, strengthen relationships, and create meaningful change in their lives.
My goal is to help clients feel more connected to themselves, more understood in their relationships, and more equipped to navigate life with greater emotional clarity, confidence, and resilience.
