About me
Venita is a seasoned clinician with many years of counseling experience. She is a licensed mental health and licensed drug and alcohol counselor and has an online practice in Massachusetts. Her areas of expertise are working with individuals, family and couples who are suffering from Trauma and PTSD, Grief and Loss, Addictions, Anxiety and Depression.
I help individuals who are navigating trauma, emotional overwhelm, addiction, and life transitions reclaim control of their lives by addressing the root, not just the symptoms. I integrate evidence-based clinical practices with mind, body, and soul healing approach. My specialty lies in trauma recovery and nervous system healing, particularly for individuals impacted by adverse childhood experiences, relational trauma, addiction, and chronic stress. I work with clients who often feel stuck in patterns of anxiety, depression, self-sabotage, or emotional disconnection, and help them move toward clarity, confidence & self-trust.
I use a holistic, trauma-informed framework that combines clinical expertise with integrative healing methods. I draw from a wide range of clinical and integrative modalities like Brainspotting, IFS, Sound therapy. This allows me to meet clients where they are mentally, emotionally, and physically while guiding them toward sustainable transformation.
