About me
Hello! I have 12 years of counseling experience working with people of all ages and in a variety of settings but I have found my passion to be the work I have done with teenagers and young adults as they navigate their own unique challenges that come with this stage of life.
I like to consider myself a kind and compassionate individual who people have always gravitated toward for a listening ear and nonjudgmental, gentle guidance. I have years of experience working with anxiety and depression but have also done work with a variety of other challenges. Most of my work is based in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy but I am flexible and meet individuals where they are at and with an approach that meets their needs. We are all unique so there is, in my opinion, no one size fits all treatment for mental health conditions. We move through the process and journey of healing and coping together in treatment at a pace that is comfortable for the individual in treatment.
