About me
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor (LPC-S) with over a decade of experience in the mental health field. I help adults navigate grief, chronic illness, and life transitions.
Hi, I’m Vanessa—a therapist who believes that healing happens when you feel truly seen, understood, and supported. I work with adults navigating grief, chronic illness, major life transitions, and emotional crises, including thoughts of self-harm or suicidality. My goal is to create a grounded, warm, and steady space where you don’t have to carry everything alone.
My style is gentle but real. I show up authentically, use a blend of evidence-based approaches (CBT, ACT, mindfulness-based interventions, and strengths-focused work), and move at a pace that feels safe for you. I bring compassion, curiosity, and a calm presence to each session—and I don’t shy away from difficult conversations. You can expect a space where honesty is welcome, emotions have room to breathe, and small steps forward are celebrated.
I’m especially passionate about supporting people who feel misunderstood by friends, family, or even their medical providers—whether you’re coping with a new diagnosis, a shift in identity, chronic pain, loss, burnout, or the complexities of simply being human right now. Together, we’ll work on building emotional resilience, reconnecting with your inner strengths, and creating tools that help you navigate both the everyday moments and the overwhelming ones.
In our work, you’ll find warmth, inclusion, and non-judgment. You’re welcome to come exactly as you are—messy, hurting, unsure, or hopeful. This is your space to explore, reflect, heal, and grow at your own pace.
If you’re ready for support that feels grounding, compassionate, and collaborative, I’d be honored to walk alongside you. If you feel we might be a good fit, I invite you to schedule a free 15-minute consultation so we can connect, talk through your needs, and see what working together could look like.
