About me
I am an experienced clinical mental health professional dedicated to supporting individuals across the lifespan—including children, teens, adults, couples, and families—on their journey toward emotional well-being. My work focuses on helping clients develop healthy coping skills for managing anxiety, depression, and anger, while also navigating the natural ups and downs that life presents.
Life can present us with unexpected challenges—whether through trauma, grief, depression, anxiety, or significant life transitions. These experiences can leave individuals feeling isolated, overwhelmed, or disconnected. What is often overlooked, however, is that healing is not only possible but also permissible. We are allowed to heal and to cultivate balance, stability, and meaning in our lives.
My role as a therapist is to provide a supportive and collaborative environment in which you can explore your experiences, identify patterns, and develop strategies for growth and healing. Whether you are seeking to process past trauma, adjust to life transitions, or strengthen balance within your personal or family relationships, I am here to assist you along that journey.
As a BIPOC therapist, I integrate a grounded, culturally responsive, and clinically informed approach. Through active listening, rapport-building, and the creation of a safe therapeutic space, I strive to foster trust and openness. My practice is rooted in a holistic perspective, drawing from current, evidence-based methods while maintaining a client-centered focus.
Therapy is most effective when there is a strong therapeutic alliance. Unfortunately, many individuals leave therapy feeling unheard or even harmed by the process. My philosophy is that therapy must be about you—your story, your needs, and your goals. Choosing a therapist is a personal and important decision, and I encourage you to explore whether my approach aligns with your needs.
I invite you to schedule a consultation to determine if we are a good fit in working together toward your healing and growth.
