About me

As an associate therapist, my passion lies in guiding individuals and couples on a transformative journey toward emotional well-being. My commitment is to help them break free from the heavy burdens of depression, anxiety, anger, and blame, empowering them to unlock their true selves. Together, we explore their inner landscapes, fostering growth and resilience, so they can embrace a life filled with authenticity and joy.

Do you ever get the sense that each day is merely a performance, a carefully crafted act designed to help you navigate through life? When you gaze into the mirror, what stares back at you—your true self, or the facade you maintain for the world? It is okay to remove the mask and stop pretending. It is okay to acknowledge that you are not okay. It’s perfectly acceptable to let go of the mask you wear and to stop pretending to be someone you’re not. It’s a sign of strength, not weakness, to openly recognize and admit that you’re not feeling okay. Embracing your true emotions can be the first step toward healing and authenticity.

My name is Tynesha Penny, and I am an associate therapist with a heartfelt commitment to guiding individuals in uncovering and embracing their authentic selves. Each therapeutic journey I embark on is unique, carefully personalized to meet the distinct needs and experiences of the individual. I prioritize building a strong, trusting connection by cultivating a safe and welcoming environment—one where exploration is encouraged and supported through deep empathy, active listening, and unwavering non-judgment.

In my practice, I employ a variety of techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, which helps to reshape negative thought patterns; Solution-Focused Therapy, which empowers clients to envision and achieve their desired outcomes; and the Comprehensive Resource Model, which assists in accessing inner strengths and healing trauma. Together, we navigate the therapeutic process, fostering growth and self-discovery.
