About me
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Masters Degree in Community Counseling, Approved Clinical Supervisor, Certified EMDR and Yoga Therapist (RYT) as well as Certified Menopause Coach that specializes in body image and self esteem, trauma recovery, complex post traumatic stress, substance use and grief.
I am the founder and owner of Chara Yoga and Wellness Collaborative. This dynamic women's Yoga and Wellness Community was birthed through my own transformative journey and passion to help other women and girls heal. This collaborative empowers women to live more fully, joyfully, and honestly to navigate major life transitions.
I am so glad you have landed on this page and may I express that it is NOT by accident.
When one experiences anxiety, generational and complex trauma, self esteem and life transitions that can feel insurmountable, it can feel very lonely and dark.
Chara Yoga and Wellness is dedicated to curate spaces that quiet the mind, develop deeper spiritual connections, and help women and girls better understand themselves to live with authenticity.
I can share that personally that living out loud authenticity is rarely graceful!
I experience authenticity in the moments where I allow myself to dream, take risks, make mistakes, learn, and try again. These are my "unearthing inner gold moments" where I find a deeper connection to myself and the blessings of this life.
Living to find peace, purpose and healing is the ultimate act of courage. Discovering who you are and what you want unapologetically takes a level of authentic introspection that is not for the faint at heart!
This is where it gets scary AND good. I cherish the opportunities I get every day to walk alongside women and girls to help create individualized road maps for living with confidence and purpose each day.
