About me
Hi, I’m Tristan Brooks, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). If you’ve made it this far, you’ve already taken an important step toward taking care of yourself. Many of the people I work with appear to have things together on the outside but internally feel overwhelmed, anxious, or stuck. With over 6 years of experience, I support adolescents, young adults, and adults who are navigating anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and life transitions. My goal is to create a safe, affirming, and culturally responsive space where you can feel seen, heard, and supported.
I specialize in working with BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ individuals and am deeply committed to providing inclusive, affirming care. I understand that identity, culture, and lived experiences can shape how we move through the world, and therapy can be a space to explore those experiences openly and without judgment.
Therapy is about walking alongside you as you carve out a path rooted in growth, healing, and authenticity. You don’t have to navigate things alone. If you’re located in New Jersey and looking for virtual therapy support, I currently have limited openings and would be honored to work with you.
