About me
With 30 years of experience, Trisha has a very straight forward, compassionate, psychoeducational approach to helping her clients. Many of her clients are Christian and appreciate the overlap of biblical principles with evidenced-based psychological approaches. She is non-judgmental, supportive, and absolutely confident in each individual’s capacity to move toward healing.
At Psychotherapy With Hope, we specialize in helping people find hope and purpose in the midst of their trauma and loss. We are privileged to work with Active Duty and Retired Service Members dealing with both combat and sexual trauma as well as individuals/couples/families facing depression, anxiety, and codependency. Our personal belief and foundation for treatment is that those who are motivated for healing can heal, no matter what they've been through. We offer a supportive and straightforward approach-it truly is a privilege to be "let in" to someone's life journey as they seek a better, more peaceful and fulfilling life.
Trisha is a Board Approved Supervisor, an author of "52 WEEKS: A Guided Communication Tool For Couples", she has been a court expert, has been trained in an array of techniques, including EMDR, EFT, PE, inner child work, and CBT and utilizes them based on the client’s needs and readiness for healing. She is also available to speak to small and corporate groups to address mental health wellness, coping skills and resiliency.
