Highly skilled and goal-oriented Mental Health Professional specializing in group and individual therapy for situations related to drug and alcohol addictions as well as trauma with background knowledge of neuropsychology. Knowledgeable in diagnosis, treatment planning and follow-up procedures for clients with diverse backgrounds. Trisha Gantz is a graduate of Carlow University with an MS in Professional Counseling. She has her BS in Child Development and Family Relations from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Her experience includes working with individuals, families, children and facilitating groups. She uses a diverse and unique approach with each individual; knowing that each person has different needs. Trisha has experience serving clients with an array of diagnoses. Included but not limited to those with anxiety, postpartum depression and anxiety, depression, schizophrenia and bipolar. In addition, Trisha has experience in the fields of drug and alcohol, trauma,and knowledge in neuropsychology. A sample of therapeutic approaches Trisha is known to use are: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused Based Therapy (SFBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). She believes that continuing her education is important not only to stay current with relevant information in the field, but also to help her clients to the best of her ability. Trisha has a strong ethical and professional background. She believes that building a strong therapeutic alliance comes with trust, communication, and providing a safe and confidential environment. Trisha is a National Certified Counselor (NCC), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP).
In Trisha’s spare time she enjoys baking, reading, traveling, and spending time with her family.
