About me
I specialize in working with diverse individuals across the lifespan, from early childhood through older adulthood. I support clients navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, psychosis, life transitions, and other challenges that may impact their emotional well-being and daily lives. My approach is compassionate, trauma-informed, and individualized, with an emphasis on creating a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment. I work collaboratively with each client to better understand their experiences, identify meaningful goals, develop practical coping skills, and build upon their existing strengths.
I believe therapy is not about changing who you are, but about helping you better understand yourself, navigate challenges, and feel empowered to create meaningful change in your life.
Hi, I’m a Licensed Master Social Worker in San Antonio, TX. I believe therapy should be a space where you can show up as your whole self—without judgment, pressure, or having to pretend that everything is okay.
Life can be a lot. Work, relationships, family, finances, major life changes, and simply trying to keep up can leave us feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure of what comes next. Sometimes you know exactly what you need help with, and sometimes you just know, “I’m tired of feeling this way.” Either is a perfectly okay place to start.
I strive to create a warm, comfortable, and genuine environment where you can be yourself. I’m not here to tell you how you should feel or what you should do. Instead, I’ll meet you where you are, listen without judgment, and work alongside you to help you better understand yourself and navigate whatever season of life you’re in.
At the same time, I believe growth happens when we’re willing to step outside of our comfort zones. I’ll support you, but I’ll also challenge you when it’s helpful. That may mean gently questioning old patterns, encouraging you to look at things from a different perspective, or holding you accountable to the goals you’ve set for yourself. My goal isn’t to push you before you’re ready—it’s to help you recognize your own ability to grow and make meaningful changes.
I also believe therapy doesn’t have to feel stiff or intimidating. You can laugh, cry, vent, ask questions, or show up having a “I barely made it here” kind of day. There’s room for all of it. My hope is that you leave our sessions feeling heard, supported, and equipped with tools you can actually use in everyday life.
You don’t have to have everything figured out before reaching out. Sometimes the first step is simply saying, “I think I could use some help.” That’s enough.
I offer both virtual/video and in-person sessions. If you’re considering therapy and wondering whether we might be a good fit, I’d love to connect.
