About me
I am an authentic and experienced Clinical Social Worker adults and teens struggling with difficult emotions or lagging skills that are hindering their quality of life.
There is already a place for insurance and such and sondermind takes care of that for me so that isn’t necessary for Sondermind biography… Also, lagging skills is a term from Collaborative Problem solving which is a motto I use upfront on my first call with folks. It will also be a huge part of my consulting business so I would like to keep that..
I work with people collaboratively to come up with an authentic and individualized plan to help you to feel like your best self. I am culturally competent in working people from diverse backgrounds including those in marginalized populations. I am trained in Brainspotting, Somatic Healing, Cognitive Behavioral therapy, Mindfulness, Executive Functioning strategies, Accept and Commitment Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Trauma Focused Therapy, Person centered, Polyvagal theory, and attachment theory. The approach I take will be uniquely adapted to your individual needs.
My strive to provide quality therapy stems from personal and professional experiences with both qualified and unqualified mental health professionals.
