About me

Meeting You Where You Are—With Support, Understanding, and Real Change

If you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or just tired of trying to figure things out on your own—you don’t have to do it alone.

I’ve spent more than three decades walking alongside individuals and families facing some of life’s toughest challenges, including anxiety, trauma, substance use, and major life transitions. My work began in 1988 supporting children and families through the Department of Human Services, and over the years, I’ve continued to expand my experience in mental health counseling, addiction recovery, and community support services.

What that means for you is this: I bring both professional expertise and real-world understanding into the therapy space. I’ve worked in hospitals, recovery centers, court systems, and community mental health—and I now provide counseling through my private practice, where the focus is entirely on meeting you where you are. My approach is compassionate, practical, and solution-focused. Whether you’re struggling with anxiety, depression, addiction, stress, or simply feeling “off,” we’ll work together to build coping skills, strengthen your sense of stability, and help you move toward a healthier, more balanced life. I also have a strong passion for supporting recovery and helping people rebuild—not just emotionally, but in their daily lives. Through my work in private practice, sober living support, and nonprofit services, I’m committed to helping individuals find real, lasting change and a sense of purpose again.

Most importantly, I believe therapy should feel safe, supportive, and real. No judgment. No pressure. Just a space where you can show up as you are and begin moving forward—one step at a time.
