About me

I am a dedicated Marriage and Family Therapist Associate committed to empowering individuals, couples, families, and children to overcome anxiety, heal from trauma, strengthen relationships, and step into their fullest, most confident selves.

About Me:
There comes a moment in many people’s lives when they realize that the weight they’ve been carrying — the sleepless nights, the strained relationships, the quiet whisper of self-doubt — is simply too heavy to carry alone. If you’ve found your way here, you may be standing at that crossroads right now. And I want you to know: reaching out is not a sign of weakness. It is one of the most courageous, powerful decisions you will ever make for yourself and for the people you love.
I am a Marriage and Family Therapist Associate with a deep passion for helping people of all ages and walks of life find clarity, healing, and lasting change. My practice is built on a foundational belief that every person — every child, every teen, every adult, every couple, every family, carries within them an extraordinary capacity for growth, resilience, and transformation. My role is not to fix you, because you are not broken. My role is to walk alongside you, to help you reconnect with your own inner strength, and to give you the tools, insights, and support you need to build the life you truly want.

Who I Work With

One of the things I treasure most about my work is the incredible diversity of people I have the privilege of serving. I work with children who are navigating the big, sometimes overwhelming emotions that come with growing up in a complex world. I work with teenagers who are forging their identities, managing social pressures, and searching for a sense of belonging. I work with adults who are facing the demands of careers, relationships, and personal histories that may have left deep marks. I work with couples who want to reconnect, communicate more honestly, and build partnerships rooted in trust and mutual respect. And I work with entire families — helping them understand one another better, break through long-standing patterns, and create homes where every member feels seen, heard, and valued.
No matter who you are or what chapter of life you are in, there is a place for you here.

What I Help With

Life has a way of presenting us with challenges that can feel impossible to face alone. My practice is focused on helping clients work through a range of experiences and concerns, including:

Anxiety and Stress: Anxiety is one of the most common — and one of the most misunderstood — struggles that people face today. Whether it shows up as a racing mind at 2 a.m., a persistent sense of dread, physical tension that never seems to let go, or an overwhelming fear of the unknown, anxiety can quietly take over your life if left unaddressed. Together, we will work to identify the roots of your anxiety, challenge the thought patterns that keep you stuck, and build practical, empowering strategies that help you reclaim a sense of calm, confidence, and control.

Trauma: Trauma is not just about what happened to you — it is about what happened inside of you as a result. Traumatic experiences, whether they occurred in childhood or adulthood, whether they were a single defining event or a series of ongoing painful experiences, can leave lasting imprints on the mind, body, and spirit. Healing from trauma is possible, and it begins with creating a space that feels genuinely safe. In our work together, we will move at your pace, honoring your story without ever rushing or minimizing it, as we gently work toward integration, release, and renewed wholeness.

Relationships and Communication: Healthy, fulfilling relationships don’t happen by accident — they are built, intentionally and consistently, through honest communication, mutual respect, and a willingness to show up even when it’s hard. Whether you are navigating conflict with a partner, struggling to connect with a child or parent, working through trust that has been broken, or simply wanting to develop deeper and more meaningful connections in your life, therapy can be a transformative space to explore, practice, and grow. I work with individuals, couples, and families to help them move from cycles of disconnection and misunderstanding toward relationships that genuinely nourish and sustain them.

Self-Esteem and Identity: How you see yourself shapes everything — the choices you make, the relationships you allow, the dreams you pursue or quietly set aside. Low self-esteem and a fractured sense of identity can develop for many reasons: early experiences of criticism or neglect, comparison and perfectionism, major life transitions, or the internalized messages of a world that has told you, in countless ways, that you are not enough. In therapy, we will work together to examine and gently challenge those beliefs, to reconnect you with your authentic self, and to help you build a foundation of self-worth that is stable, genuine, and entirely your own.

My Approach

I believe that the most effective therapy is never one-size-fits-all. Every person who walks through my door brings with them a unique history, a unique set of strengths, and a unique vision for what healing and growth look like for them. That is why I draw from a rich, integrative blend of evidence-based therapeutic approaches, tailoring my work to fit each individual client’s needs, goals, and preferences.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a cornerstone of my practice. CBT is one of the most extensively researched and proven therapeutic modalities available, and for good reason — it works. At its heart, CBT is about understanding the powerful connection between our thoughts, our feelings, and our behaviors. When we learn to identify and challenge unhelpful thinking patterns, we can begin to shift the emotional and behavioral responses that are holding us back. CBT is practical, goal-oriented, and empowering, giving clients real skills they can use both in and outside of the therapy room.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy invites us to slow down and come home to the present moment — which is, in truth, the only moment we ever truly have. Rooted in ancient contemplative wisdom and supported by a growing body of modern neuroscience, mindfulness helps us develop a different relationship with our thoughts and emotions. Rather than being swept away by them or fighting against them, we learn to observe them with curiosity and compassion. This shift can be quietly revolutionary, reducing anxiety, improving emotional regulation, and fostering a deeper, more peaceful relationship with ourselves and the world around us.

Solution-Focused Therapy is grounded in a fundamentally optimistic view of human beings and human potential. Rather than spending all of our time dissecting problems, solution-focused work asks powerful forward-looking questions: What is already working? What does your best possible future look like? What strengths and resources do you already possess that can help you get there? This approach is particularly energizing for clients who are ready to move forward and want a therapy experience that feels active, hopeful, and driven by their own goals and values.

Family Systems Therapy recognizes that we do not exist in isolation — we are shaped by, and we shape, the relational systems we are part of. Our families of origin, our current households, our patterns of connection and disconnection — all of these are living, breathing systems that profoundly influence who we are and how we move through the world. Family systems work helps clients understand those dynamics more clearly, break free from roles and patterns that no longer serve them, and build healthier, more conscious ways of relating to the people who matter most.

My Philosophy

At the heart of everything I do is a deep, unwavering respect for the human experience in all of its complexity and beauty. I do not believe in cookie-cutter solutions or one-size-fits-all answers. I believe in the power of the therapeutic relationship — in what becomes possible when a person feels truly heard, truly seen, and truly supported by someone who is fully present with them.
As a Marriage and Family Therapist Associate, I work under the supervision of an experienced licensed professional, which means my clients benefit not only from my dedicated, personalized care but also from an additional layer of clinical oversight and guidance. This collaborative structure reflects my ongoing commitment to providing the highest quality of care as I continue to grow and develop in my professional journey.
I also believe in your capacity to change. Not in a naive, everything-is-easy kind of way — but in a grounded, hard-won, deeply real kind of way. I have witnessed transformation in people who had all but given up on themselves. I have seen families repair wounds that seemed irreparable. I have watched children learn to name and navigate emotions that had once sent them spinning. I have seen adults finally — finally — begin to treat themselves with the kindness they have always given so freely to others. This work matters. You matter.
Therapy is not always comfortable. Growth rarely is. But it is worth it. And you do not have to do it alone.

Taking the First Step

Whether you are just beginning to explore the idea of therapy or you have been thinking about it for a long time, I want you to know that you are welcome here exactly as you are. You do not need to have all the answers, or even all the right questions. You just need to be willing to begin.

I would be honored to be part of your journey. Reach out today to schedule a consultation, and let’s take that first powerful step together — toward healing, toward clarity, toward the life you deserve.
