About me
Tori is a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Master of Arts in Biblical Counseling from Dallas Theological Seminary and a Bachelor of Arts in Italian Studies with a certification in Entrepreneurship from the University of Houston. Before entering the counseling field, she spent sixteen years as a Professional Dog Trainer, managing top dog resorts in Houston and running her own business.
Tori integrates her background in animal behavior into the counseling space through Animal Assisted Therapy. The consistent presence of a therapy dog can help clients feel grounded, safe, and emotionally supported-while also reducing stress and blood pressure.
She works with individuals facing challenges related to anxiety, trauma, relationship and family dynamics, sexual addiction, mood disorders, psychosis, and grief. She also provides support for survivors of suicide loss, sexual abuse and those navigating spiritual concerns. Tori is clinically and culturally competent to work with people from all walks of life.
Compassion for human suffering is at the heart of why Tori became a counselor. Her goal is to help clients reach meaningful goals, develop healthy coping strategies, strengthen their connection with God and others, and remove barriers to becoming the person they were created to be.
