About me
I’m a warm, interactive therapist specializing in LGBTQ+ and non-monogamous & kinky relationships, life transitions, parenthood, neurodivergence, and psychedelic-assisted therapy for people ready to understand themselves more deeply and live more intentionally.
Maybe you know exactly what you want to work on. Or maybe you just know that you’re self-aware, you’ve thought about this a lot, and somehow you keep finding yourself in the same frustrating patterns.
I work especially well with curious people who want to understand themselves deeply but also want therapy to actually do something with that understanding. Together, we’ll get curious about the patterns shaping your relationships, choices, and sense of self; understand how they developed; and experiment with new ways of being rather than simply talking about them.
For more than a decade, much of my practice has centered on LGBTQ+ and ethically non-monogamous (ENM/CNM) individuals, couples, and multi-partner relationships. I also provide kink-affirming and neurodivergence-affirming therapy. Many clients come to me after realizing how exhausting it is to spend therapy explaining or defending the basic context of their lives before they can ever get to the thing they actually came to work on. With me, your identity or relationship structure doesn’t automatically become the problem—but there is plenty of room to explore it when you want to.
Relationships are a major focus of my practice. I help individuals, couples, and polycules work through communication, boundaries, attachment, intimacy, jealousy, conflict, changing agreements, opening a relationship, and the practical realities of building relationships that don't necessarily follow a conventional script. I’m interested not just in helping relationships survive conflict, but in helping each person create relationships in which they can feel loved, secure, understood, and fully themselves.
I also love working with people in periods of transition: changing or ending relationships, exploring sexuality or gender, moving, shifting careers, or realizing that the life that once fit no longer does. This extends to family planning, pregnancy, postpartum adjustment, and parenthood. I have specialized training in perinatal mental health and particularly welcome queer, non-monogamous, blended, and otherwise nontraditional families. We can explore not only how to parent, partner, or build a family, but which inherited expectations you actually want to carry forward.
Another significant part of my practice is psychedelic-assisted therapy. I completed Integrative Psychiatry Institute’s year-long, 200-hour Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy Training in 2021-2022 and subsequently spent several years supporting psychedelic-therapy education and experiential ketamine trainings for hundreds of clinicians. I offer ketamine-assisted psychotherapy as well as preparation and integration for psychedelic experiences. This work can be particularly valuable for people who have developed substantial insight through traditional therapy but continue to feel stuck in patterns.
My style is warm, playful, direct, curious, and actively engaged. I’m not a therapist who plans to silently nod at you for 50 minutes. My background in Transpersonal Counseling Psychology informs a holistic approach that draws from mindfulness, somatic and experiential therapies, parts work, attachment, and practical skill-building. We’ll make room for contradiction, humor, discomfort, existential questions, bodies and nervous systems, and the parts of being human that don't fit neatly into diagnostic boxes.
Above all, I trust your capacity to know yourself. My role isn’t to prescribe the “right” way to live, love, relate, parent, or heal. It’s to help you notice what has been operating on autopilot, understand what’s keeping it in place, and create enough space to choose something different.
