I'm a Professional Life & Leadership Coach & a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist

I have worked for over 25 years as a licensed marriage and family therapist while adding life & leadership coaching to my portfolio 8 years ago. I'm passion about coming alongside Christian leaders to help them navigate the often-rocky waters of leadership with wisdom, balance and joy. My work consists of promoting emotional & relational intelligence through healing from painful life choices, changing negative mindsets, developing better views of self and the world around, growing healthy communication and conflict resolution skills as well as recovering from burn out and gaining the necessary skills to never return there.

Tonya has helped many couples grow in their communication and conflict resolution skills and to find more joy and connection in their relationships. Having been trained in both Prepare/Enrich and SYMBIS she has many tools for couples just starting out or those married for decades.

I am a member of the Maxwell Leadership team, certified in the Conflicts Dynamics Profile, and a Strengths Champion Coach. Not only do I work with leaders individually and in their marriage, but I also work with their teams. It's my pleasure to help teams find better ways of connecting through developing an appreciation for each member's uniqueness, strengths and personalities. I help them develop stronger communication skills and ways to handle conflict that breads growth and not toxicity.

My relationship with the Lord is the bedrock of my work and helping others understand His love, forgiveness, healing, peace and direction for their lives my great reward! I've developed specific tools for helping to improve mindsets which lead to a more positive self-concept!

I do coaching & counseling sessions in person, virtually and over the phone. I'm also available for onsite team development and coaching as well as for speaking on various topics such as... leadership, communication, conflict resolution, marital and relational health, work/life balance, spiritual growth, etc.
