About me
Have you ever felt as if the identity you have been living out of does not really fit? Trauma, neurodivergence, and anxiety are just a few of the reasons we might find ourselves adapting to others expectations. We exist in our state of adapting for years and then one day our ways of coping and existing just do not work any longer. We want to connect with our true self and find a sense of belonging, but where to start? We have been defined by others for so long we are not even sure who we are any longer.
I partner with clients to bring awareness to the influences that have shaped the identities out of which they have been living. For deeply internalized messages, I utilize CBT techniques and mindfulness exercises, to help reframe the messages that individuals have often accepted as truth over a lifetime.
Ohana means family and family means nobody gets left behind or forgotten - Disney's Lilo & Stitch. No one deserves to be forgotten and that includes our true self that can get lost in all of the adapting that is done to cope. I would be honored to partner with you as you work to rediscover your true self.
