Tobie is a native Houstonian. She received her undergraduate degree from Texas Tech University and obtained her Master of Arts in General Clinical Psychology from the University of Houston, Clear Lake. She is also a hypnotherapist, certified through the National Guild of Hypnotists and PATH Foundation.

As an active psychotherapist in the mental health community, Ms. Oidtmann specializes in clinical psychology. Some of her clients include individuals experiencing challenges such as depression, anxiety disorders, traumatic stress, or substance abuse, as well as families in crisis. Her work also includes children, adolescents and adults coping with learning and behavioral challenges.

Continuing education is a priority for Tobie as she constantly stays abreast of the newest strategies and techniques for helping her clients.

Ms. Oidtmann has created a warm and inviting office environment. Her clients feel safe and secure in sharing their challenges and obstacles. Tobie continues to work with long-term clients while welcoming new clients who come to her for help in managing everyday challenges.

Part of Tobie's leisure time is spent playing with her rescue dogs, Priya and Eros. She enjoys time outdoors especially in and around water. She is an avid reader and is active in an ongoing book club.
