About me
I am deeply passionate about exploring the connection between mental health and the distinctive challenges faced by individuals from diverse backgrounds.
My commitment stems from a desire to recognize and address the varied experiences of people from all walks of life. As a member of the LGBTQ+ community, I prioritize creating a welcoming and affirming environment. I believe it is vital for all clients to have a space where they can authentically explore their identities and experiences without judgment. My therapeutic approach emphasizes the importance of supporting the entire family system.
Areas of Focus • Helping individuals, couples, and families navigate anxiety, PTSD, and identity exploration • Working with children, individuals, families, and couples experiencing symptoms of anxiety, depression, relational disconnect, grief, and other challenges impacting daily life • Providing a safe space for clients to process emotional ups and downs
With nearly 20 years of military service, I understand firsthand the complexities of life transitions and family dynamics. Additionally, my experience in law enforcement has given me insight into the mental and physical demands faced daily by professionals in this field. I bring sensitivity and awareness to these challenges in my therapeutic work.
