About me
Drawing on my own experience as an Iranian immigrant and member of the LGBTQ+ community, I specialize in working with immigrants, queer clients, and those navigating the intersection of queer identity and traditional cultural or family systems.
My practice integrates multicultural and queer-affirming frameworks, with particular attention to the impact of systemic oppression on mental health and wellbeing. As a Therapist, I provide person-centered, humanistic, and strength-based therapy tailored to each client's unique potential for growth and self-actualization. I specialize in immigrant issues, intersectional identities, and everyday anxiety caused by systematic influences.During our first session, I will give you the space to tell me about yourself, and I will ask questions to learn more about you and your goals for therapy. My goal is to create an affirming, culturally informed space where you can explore your identity, build resilience, and strengthen community connections. I practice through Del Marriage And Family Therapy, Inc.
