About me
I am a licensed therapist with over 25 years working with people to achieve their personal goals for healthy living and overcoming challenges.
I believe that people want to do well and be in good relationships. I also believe that there are so many things in life, physically and emotionally that can disrupt being in good relationships. As a therapist I believe my role is to help people evaluate the quality of their relationships and develop self awareness to effect change.
I believe change comes from engaging in different behavior, different thought patterns and healthy life choices. Change comes to people in many different ways, I will work to help you find how change can come to you.
I hold a Masters Degree in Counseling Psychology from National University. I have worked in many different settings, such as group homes, juvenile justice and in early intervention for people at risk of Schizophrenia.
I am committed to continuing education to offer the most relevant, evidenced base intervention for the individuals I support through counseling.
