About me
Hi, I’m Thomas Quayle - though please feel free to call me Tom.
I’m a qualified Clinical Counsellor with training in Child and Family Psychology, and I’m a registered member of both the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and the British Psychological Society (BPS).
My work is grounded in a genuine passion for helping people feel understood, more secure in themselves, and more able to navigate life’s challenges. I offer a calm, supportive, and non-judgmental space where you can talk openly about whatever may be weighing on you - whether that’s anxiety, low mood, self-esteem difficulties, relationship challenges, addiction, overwhelming stress, or simply a feeling of being stuck.
My approach is warm, down-to-earth, and person-centred. I believe that a strong therapeutic relationship is at the heart of meaningful counselling, so we’ll work at a pace that feels right for you, shaping sessions around your experiences, strengths, and goals.
Having faced my own challenges and experienced the value of therapy personally, I understand how difficult it can be to reach out - especially when you’re used to carrying things on your own.
Struggling does not mean you are weak; it means you are human. You do not have to face things alone.
Whenever you feel ready, I’m here to walk alongside you through the process.
