About me
Counselling is a personal journey and one which sometimes takes a lot for a person to start. As such, finding the right Counsellor that you feel you can create a connection with is important. So here is a little bit about myself and my history.
I have been offering Counselling in one form or another for the past six years. My journey on this path began as a volunteer for the Samaritans where I developed my passion for helping people through listening and reflection. Since my volunteer days, I decided that counselling was the vocation for me and so I began my formal training so that I can help people full time.
I offer counselling through an approach which is person or client led. This means that sessions revolve around you and what you bring to them. By working with what you bring, at your own pace, offering reflections in a safe and confidential environment, we are able to work together to implement interventions and solutions which are all the more powerful because they come from you.
