About me
I am a licensed mental health counselor in Maine, available online through Rula.com to support you on your journey of self-discovery. My compassionate counseling approach has helped adults and youth with mood management, trauma and abuse recovery, addiction recovery, SI and SH management, grief and loss healing, DID integration, and gender and sexual identity empowerment.
Through the past five years of providing mental health counseling in Maine, my diverse life experiences, and my own recovery journey, I have gained a deep empathy for others. Most of us have wounds that need attention before we can grow to our potential. My intersectional feminist perspective focuses on your potential’s fulfillment. I seek to empower you to find your purpose and live a life of deep meaning.
Also, I am an ally for the LGBTQIA+ community, and offer a safe space for discussing what matters to YOU. Female, male, questioning, transgender, or non-binary – YOU matter and deserve healing.
I offer one-on-one telehealth counseling sessions for people aged 18+ through Rula.com. I'm obtaining certification in trauma-focused therapy as well as Internal Family Systems, and have experience with substance abuse recovery counseling, DBT, SFBT, CBT, and meaning-making through Narrative and Logotherapy. Your values and goals guide our sessions, while I provide psychoeducation, skill practice, reflective insights, and support for your healing. Some areas I can help with include managing stress, anxiety, and depression; understanding and coping with mental health diagnoses; gaining personal regulation and interpersonal communication skills; healing from abuse, trauma, and loss; problem-solving and adjusting to life changes; integrating alters for DID; managing self-harm and suicidal ideation recovery; embracing an empowered sexual and/or gender identity; and recovering from addiction and codependency.
Most insurances, EAP, and private pay, are accepted by Rula.com. I offer flexible scheduling, and you can use the Rula website to set appointments with me, including some weekend and evening hours.
Our sessions are confidential, and I receive supervision as needed.
