About me

Theo Reynolds, LPC, offers compassionate, personalized therapy to individuals across Oregon via secure, convenient telehealth sessions.

I work with adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction, and relationship struggles, as well as sexual issues, neurodivergence, and sometimes feeling like an outlier in your various communities. Together, we draw on EMDR, Somatic Experiencing, AEDP, CBT, and Mindfulness — approaches I tailor to you, your nervous system, and your history, not a one-size-fits-all protocol. My goal is real, lasting change: not just coping tools, but a deeper shift in how you move through life.
At the center of my work is a belief that real healing happens when people stop performing who they think they're supposed to be and start learning who they actually are. So much of anxiety, shutdown, and disconnection comes from years of conforming — to family expectations, to relationships, to old survival strategies — instead of living authentically. My job is to help you find your way back to yourself.
I use many approaches including EMDR, CBT, and polyvagal-informed work — because your nervous system often needs more than insight to change; it needs new, felt experiences of safety. I'm direct but collaborative. Early on, we'll figure out what's most alive for you right now, build practical tools you can use between sessions, and move at a pace your body can actually handle. My approach centers on your whole being — mind, body, and every part of what shapes your well-being. I draw on EMDR, Somatic Experiencing, AEDP, CBT, and mindfulness-based practices. I don't rely on one method — I tailor the approach to what your nervous system and history actually need, session by session.

Much of my training is polyvagal-informed, meaning we pay close attention to what's happening in your body, not just your thoughts. Anxiety, trauma responses, and old relational patterns often live below conscious awareness, so we work there too — not just talking about what's wrong, but helping your system learn what safety and connection feel like.

I'm direct but collaborative. We'll figure out early what's most alive for you right now, build practical tools you can use between sessions, and move at a pace that respects what your body can handle. The goal isn't just symptom relief — it's lasting change in how you relate to yourself, your history, and the people around you.
I see clients remotely so we can do this work wherever you're most comfortable. Outside of session, you'll find me in nature and at live shows feeling the music. I think joy and authenticity go hand in hand.
