About me
I bring trauma-focused training from UCLA, supervisory experience at UCLA and Kaiser Permanente, and a strong foundation in critical care. My work as a public health surveyor in mental health hospitals taught me the importance of dignity and compassion in care. Today, I combine medication management, therapy, and mindfulness to help clients heal, build resilience, and move forward with confidence.
In our first session together, my focus is on getting to know you and understanding what brought you to seek support. We’ll talk about your current concerns, your history, and your goals for treatment in a way that feels comfortable and at your pace. I’ll also share how I work, including therapy approaches, coping strategies, mindfulness practices, and medication management, if appropriate, so you know what to expect moving forward.
This first visit is not about judgment or labels; it’s about creating a safe, supportive space where you feel heard. By the end of our session, we’ll begin to outline a personalized plan tailored to your needs, so you can feel confident that you’re taking meaningful steps toward balance and well-being.
