About me

I’m a culturally informed counselor dedicated to helping adult clients see the greatness in themselves.

As a Black, Queer & Neurodivergent woman, I understand the importance of being seen, heard & affirmed in the fullness of who you are. My goal as a counselor is to create & maintain a space where my clients get to experience all of that; a space where they don’t have to shrink, code-switch, or mask in order to be supported. Whether someone is exploring their gender or sexual identity, navigating important life transitions, managing anxiety or depression, or seeking guidance for how to cope with challenges associated with neurodivergence, my aim is to meet each client where they are & provide the support that best meets their needs.

My counseling style is warm, affirming, and eclectic. I draw from evidence-based practices like Person-Centered Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, while always tailoring sessions to fit the unique needs and lived experiences of each respective client.

I believe everyone is the expert on their own life and my role as a counselor is not to tell someone who they are, but instead-by providing empathetic support, guidance & a safe space for reflection-help them better understand why they are who they are and help them become the version of themselves that they most desire to be.
