About me
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Georgia, with a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision. I have worked in the mental health field for 7+ years with a variety of populations, including at-risk youth, medically compromised patients, and clients in private practice of diverse backgrounds.
Reaching out for support takes courage, and it’s a powerful first step toward growth, healing, and deeper self-understanding. I work with individuals who are ready to explore what’s going on beneath the surface—whether that’s anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship issues, or simply feeling stuck or overwhelmed. My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in respect for your unique story. I believe that therapy should feel like a safe space where you can be fully yourself—without judgment, pressure, or pretense. I bring curiosity, compassion, and honesty to our sessions, and I’ll meet you where you are while gently challenging you to grow. I draw from a blend of evidence-based approaches including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and person-centered techniques, but I always tailor my work to fit your specific needs and goals. My style is conversational and real—I'm here to help you make meaningful connections, gain clarity, and build tools you can use in everyday life.
