About me

I’m a Clinical Social Worker, deeply committed to supporting individuals as they reconnect with their inner strength, navigate life’s transitions, and heal from trauma, manage stress, or develop skills to cope with life experiences. My goal is to help you move toward lasting emotional balance, resilience, and well‑being.
I believe therapy works best as a collaborative process. I offer a warm, safe, and supportive space where you can feel heard, understood, and empowered so that we can create the meaningful and lasting change you desire as we work together. The direction of your care will always be yours to determine, as you are the one who knows your needs best. I will support you, guide you, teach you, and encourage you along the way, as I am the one who is there to offer what you may not have had or recognized in yourself before.

I welcome you to reach out and take that first step toward healing and wholeness. You don’t have to do it alone.

Reaching out for support is a big step, and finding the right therapist truly matters. I bring doctorate-level education, more than 25 years of experience, and a caring, down-to-earth approach to helping people through life’s hardest and most meaningful moments.

My practice supports people dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, relationship concerns, parenting stress, health challenges, and major life changes. You might feel overwhelmed, stuck, worn down, or simply ready for something to shift. Whether you’re working through something new or something you’ve carried for years, therapy can help you feel more steady, clear, and like yourself again

I see therapy as a partnership where we work together to focus on what matters most to you. I tend to connect well with clients who are goal-oriented and ready for change, but you don’t have to have all the answers to start. Most people don’t, and that’s okay. My role is to meet you where you are and help you feel comfortable enough to begin.

One of the things that makes my work unique is flexibility. Healing isn’t one-size-fits-all. I use a mix of proven approaches based on your needs, goals, and experiences. This includes eye movement desensitization and reprocessing therapy (EMDR) and other trauma-focused therapies, along with other methods that allow me to adjust our work so it truly fits you. I don’t expect you to fit into a certain style of therapy. I will shape the process to support you. If you don't feel supported, I'll keep reshaping until you do.

It has always been my belief that how I show up is just as important as the methods I use to help you reach your goals. So, I work to create a space that feels safe, welcoming, and free from judgment, where you can speak openly and be yourself. You'll always be treated with respect, I'll always be honest with you, and we will find a balanced approach to working together that allows you to feel comfortable and capable of talking about things that aren't easy to talk about. I practice with cultural humility, which means I stay open, respectful, and willing to learn from each person’s story and life experience. You are the one who best knows what works for you and what doesn't, and I will always acknowledge and accept that. It is my responsibility to support you, teach you, listen to you, challenge you, hold space for you, and help you to grow through the places that are not as strong as you would like for them to be in your life. That is the partnership, that is the team we will create.

Clients often share that they appreciate the balance I bring-professional, but also real and human. I value honest conversations, strong connections, and when it fits, a little humor. Healing can be deep and serious, but it can also include moments of relief, lightness, and even a smile. Sometimes growth looks like a breakthrough. Sometimes it looks like finally taking a full breath. Both matter.

I also understand that life doesn’t always fit neatly into a 9-to-5 schedule. That’s why I offer hours outside of traditional business times when I can. Therapy should support your life, not add more stress to it.
My work is guided by a simple belief: “Where empathy inspires growth and every moment teaches.” This is the tagline for my agency name, and a sincere belief that I hold. A foundation of peace and work toward wellness is important. I truly see it as an honor to do this work. Supporting people as they heal, grow, and reconnect with their strength is something I don’t take lightly.

If you’re looking for a therapist who brings experience, advanced training, flexibility, respect, and genuine care without judgment, I would be honored to work with you.
