About me
I am a clinically licensed social worker in the state of Illinois. I received my Master's Degree in Social Work from Indiana University School of Social Work. Some of my experience includes helping clients with stress, anxiety, terminal illness, self esteem, and coping with grief/loss. I have worked in a variety of settings with diverse client populations. My approach is a collaborative approach, meaning I see you as the expert of your life and I am here to help guide you in finding solutions that work for you. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs. My goal is to create an environment in which you feel comfortable to be open and honest. We will work together to identify your strengths and resources that will help you overcome the challenges you are facing. Many individuals are nervous and experience anxiety when starting therapy, I am here to support & empower you in that journey.
With care,
Tara
