About me

I work with individuals and partners from all backgrounds, including 2SLGBTQIA+ folks, neurodivergent folks, military spouses, and anyone navigating anxiety, depression, chronic conditions, or relationship stress. Life can get messy and overwhelming, and sometimes it feels like no one sees all that you’re carrying. I provide a space where you are seen, heard, and supported. Together, we’ll explore your story, find tools that actually work, and create balance that feels right for you!

Hey there, I’m Tara! We all carry stories, some visible, some quietly tucked away. Life can throw sudden changes, invisible struggles, or seasons of overwhelm. It gets messy. It gets exhausting. I know how hard it can be to keep going when no one can see all that you’re carrying. Healing isn’t about having it all figured out, it’s about understanding your story, finding tools that actually work, and creating balance that feels right for you. I have experience supporting people living with chronic conditions, processing trauma, experiencing anxiety and depression, relationship stress, and life’s curveballs. I work with partners and individuals from all backgrounds and identities, including 2SLGBTQIA+ folks, autistic folks, folks with ADHD, folks with PTSD, military spouses, and veterans, offering a space where you feel truly seen, heard, and supported! Outside the office, you can find me planning my next tattoo, singing way too loudly, or laughing at funny cat videos! I believe therapy doesn’t have to be all serious faces and stiff chairs. Openness, curiosity, and even a little humor can go a long way in the healing process! If you’re looking for a nonjudgmental, safe space to process whatever’s on your mind, without the stuffy-office vibes, you’re in the right place! This is your space to let go and breathe easier. To go at your own pace. To be accepted exactly as you are.
I use a person-centered approach, tailoring sessions to your unique needs. I blend tools from CBT, DBT, ACT, IFS, EFT, and Gottman methods to help you navigate life’s challenges, manage stress, and strengthen relationships. Together, we’ll explore practical strategies, build insight and self-awareness, and reconnect with your spark—all in a space that’s supportive, understanding, and even a little fun along the way.
No matter what brought you here—relationship challenges, trauma, chronic illness, military life, or just the everyday overwhelm—you don’t have to navigate it alone. I also bring my own experiences to the table, having navigated chronic illnesses myself, so I understand what it’s like to feel unheard, overwhelmed, or dismissed. My goal is to offer a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can be heard, understood, and supported. Together, we’ll explore practical tools, build emotional awareness, and strengthen your trust and love for yourself. Whether we’re rebuilding relationships, managing stress, advocating for your health, or finding balance amidst life’s curveballs, my passion is helping you reconnect with your strengths, create space for hope and healing, and move forward with confidence and compassion.
