About me
Hello! I’m Tara Melvin Jr (she/her/hers), a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor and the therapist behind Clio Pathways LLC, a fully remote therapy practice serving adults (18+) throughout Florida. I help adults navigate life transitions, identity shifts, and burnout through compassionate, practical, and insight-oriented therapy.
If you are feeling like the life you've built, the roles you've been living, or the patterns you've relied on no longer fit, you are not alone. My approach is integrative, with a strong foundation in narrative and solution-focused therapy. I enjoy helping clients explore the stories they have been living, understand how those stories have shaped them, and intentionally author the next chapter of their lives. Our work balances meaningful insight with practical strategies so you leave therapy with greater self-understanding and a clearer path forward.
I strive to provide an affirming, culturally responsive space and welcome LGBTQ+ clients, people in polyamorous and ethically non-monogamous relationships, and members of the BIPOC community.
If you are standing at a threshold where the old story no longer fits, but the next one has not yet taken shape, this work may resonate with you. I work with adults navigating life transitions, burnout, identity shifts, anxiety, relationship changes, recurring patterns, and moments of deep reflection about how they want to live their lives.
Together, we will explore what you are ready to release, what is emerging, and how to move toward a life that feels more aligned with your values and the person you are becoming. Therapy offers an opportunity to slow down, gain perspective, and make intentional choices rather than continue repeating patterns that no longer serve you.
Whether you are feeling stuck, questioning your direction, or simply sensing that something needs to change, you do not have to figure it out alone. I would be honored to support you as you begin creating your next chapter.
