Tamami Fujiwara

I am a licensed mental health counselor, passionate about helping adults identify and heal from the root of suffering caused by difficult childhoods. My approach integrates EMDR therapy (EMDRIA certification) and Parts Work, along with many other techniques, to help clients untangle years of complex trauma memories.

Being a therapist isn't just a career for me; it's the culmination of my own journey of personal growth. My interest in counseling arose naturally from my life experiences.

Having grown up in an emotionally and physically abusive family, I spent many years trying to outrun my pain. Eventually, I realized that avoiding my suffering only hindered my happiness, reaching a point where I simply couldn't ignore it any longer.

In my practice, I offer a safe, non-judgmental space for all. I love collaborating with clients like you to identify how old thinking patterns and behavioral patterns create suffering, and how triggers can make one feel as if they are revisiting past traumas. With this new understanding of yourself, we'll tailor the best methods to find ways to heal your attachment wounds and discover new ways to relate to the world.
