Welcome! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and the Founder of Dixon Professional Counseling Services, LLC. I have over 20 years of experience in private practice, dedicated to helping individuals and couples step out of overwhelming 'survival mode' and into lasting relief. I operate a virtual practice, providing secure and convenient telehealth services across the entire states of Texas and Michigan.

I specialize in treating anxiety, depression, and profound burnout. My approach is warm, empathetic, and active. We work together to explore your stressors, help you learn to truly value yourself, and establish sustainable boundaries so you can carve out the time you need to refresh and rejuvenate. In addition to my individual work, I am passionate about helping couples reconnect, rebuild trust, and restore deep, meaningful communication.

I am happy to be uniquely accessible to all of my clients outside of standard sessions to help you work through challenges in real time as they happen. To deeply support sustainable growth and lifetime coping skills, established clients have direct access to me for seamless, non-emergency out-of-session communication, alongside the priority ability to schedule same-day or next-day urgent appointments as availability permits.

I accept select Michigan and Texas insurance plans. For private pay individuals and couples, standard session rates are $245 for intake and $235 for ongoing appointments. For eligible clients the sliding scale range is $150- $200 per session. I can also provide a superbill for my out-of-network clients to submit for insurance reimbursement.
