About me
I am an independent licensed mental health therapist with over 20 years of experience specializing in the treatment of depression, anxiety disorders, and PTSD, as well as grief and life transitions. I see adults 21 and older. I use CBT and insight-oriented techniques to build coping and emotion regulation skills, foster self-understanding, and support lasting personal growth.
I am an independent licensed mental health therapist and I provide thoughtful, compassionate care to adults seeking support during some of life’s most challenging moments. My practice is grounded in the belief that meaningful change happens when people feel truly seen, understood, and supported in a safe and nonjudgmental space. I work with individuals experiencing depression, anxiety disorders, PTSD, grief, and difficulties related to life transitions, helping them make sense of overwhelming emotions and regain a sense of balance and direction. My therapeutic style is collaborative and reflective, blending structure with curiosity, and practical tools with deeper exploration. I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) with insight-oriented approaches to help clients understand how past experiences, internal beliefs, and emotional patterns influence present-day struggles. In our work together, we focus not only on symptom relief, but also on strengthening emotion regulation, increasing self-awareness, and developing healthier ways of relating to oneself and others. In my work with individual clients, I aim to create an environment that feels calm, respectful, and welcoming—one where clients can slow down, reflect, and begin to reconnect with their own inner strengths. I understand that reaching out for therapy can feel intimidating, especially when someone has been carrying emotional pain for a long time, and I approach each client with warmth, patience, and genuine care. I value the therapeutic relationship as a powerful foundation for healing and growth, and I tailor treatment to each individual’s unique needs, goals, and life circumstances. Whether someone is feeling stuck, emotionally exhausted, navigating loss, recovering from trauma, or simply sensing that something needs to change, my role is to walk alongside them as they gain clarity, build resilience, and move toward greater well-being. My practice offers both in-person and virtual sessions to support accessibility and flexibility, and I am committed to providing care that honors each person’s story, culture, and lived experience. Ultimately, my work is guided by the belief that healing is possible, growth is attainable, and no one has to face emotional challenges alone.
