About me
Are your child’s big emotions or behavior challenges leaving your family feeling stretched thin and unsure where to turn? Reaching out takes courage—and you’ve already taken an important first step. Many families I work with feel overwhelmed, but with the right tools and support, meaningful change is possible. Some kids seem to be thriving on the outside while quietly struggling with anxiety, perfectionism, or self-doubt. Others show their challenges more openly—through meltdowns, defiance, or withdrawal. Wherever your family falls, my role is to provide a calm, supportive space where kids, teens, young adults, and parents can breathe, reset, and find hope again.
I specialize in helping children, teens, and young adults (ages 4–23) navigate emotional challenges like anxiety, depression, and low self-esteem, as well as behavioral struggles and the lasting effects of trauma. I also support parents in reducing conflict, easing stress, and strengthening family connection. For young adults, therapy often focuses on transitions, identity, and burnout—the pressure of “figuring it all out.” Whether supporting a child with big feelings or a college student finding independence, I meet each client exactly where they are.
My approach is collaborative and down-to-earth, rooted in the belief that it truly takes a village. I partner with parents, schools, and other providers when helpful to ensure care feels connected across home, school, and community. In sessions, I integrate evidence-based methods—CBT, DBT, and play therapy for younger clients—with a flexible, relationship-based style. Clients often describe our work as both calming and practical: we laugh, we problem-solve, and we focus on progress that fits real life.
Kids and teens gain tools to manage big emotions and build resilience. Young adults find clarity and confidence. Parents leave with practical strategies and a renewed sense of hope. My goal is for every client to walk away feeling more connected, empowered, and capable long after therapy ends.
I’m a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) and Certified Youth Mental Health Specialist (CYMHS), holding dual master’s degrees (MSEd and MPhilEd) from the University of Pennsylvania. I’m currently out-of-network with all insurance providers. Starting November 1st, I’ll be in-network with Aetna and offering a limited number of openings—please reach out to join the list. For other plans, I can provide superbills for out-of-network reimbursement.
Outside of work, I recharge through fitness, time outdoors, good books, and cheering loudly for the Eagles (Go Birds!).
