About me
Are your child’s big emotions or behavior challenges leaving your family feeling stretched thin, unsure where to turn, and wishing someone could really understand? Reaching out for support takes courage, and you’ve already taken an important first step. Many families I work with feel overwhelmed, but with the right tools and support, meaningful change is possible. Some kids appear to be thriving on the outside while quietly struggling with anxiety, perfectionism, or self-doubt. Others show their challenges more openly—through meltdowns, defiance, school stress, or withdrawal. Some families describe themselves as high-achieving but burnt out, while others feel chaotic or constantly behind. Wherever you fall, my role is to provide a safe, supportive space where kids, teens, young adults, and parents can breathe, reset, and find a renewed sense of hope.
I specialize in working with children, teens, and young adults (ages 4–23) facing emotional challenges like anxiety, depression, and low self-esteem, as well as behavioral struggles and the lasting effects of trauma. I also provide parent support, helping families feel less alone, reduce conflict, and strengthen the loving connections that matter most. For young adults, therapy often means navigating life transitions, identity questions, intense emotions, or burnout—the pressure of “figuring it all out.” Whether supporting a 6-year-old through big feelings or a college student building independence, I meet each client where they are.
My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and rooted in the belief that it takes a village. I partner with parents, schools, and other providers when helpful, ensuring care is holistic and consistent. In the therapy room, I integrate evidence-based practices—including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and play therapy for younger children—with a flexible, client-centered style. While these approaches are backed by research, what matters most is that kids, teens, and families feel safe, understood, and empowered.
Clients often describe therapy with me as both calming and practical. Kids and teens gain tools to manage big emotions, improve focus, and build resilience. Young adults discover clarity, confidence, and momentum as they move through transitions. Parents find relief in having strategies and insight to support their child. My ultimate goal is to help families feel less alone, more hopeful, and supported with skills that last long after therapy ends—so they leave not only stronger, but also more connected and confident in the journey ahead.
I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) and Certified Youth Mental Health Specialist (CYMHS). I hold dual master’s degrees (MSEd and MPhilEd) from the University of Pennsylvania, with training in CBT, DBT, and play therapy. I am out-of-network with all insurance providers. However, I am happy to provide a superbill upon request, allowing clients to seek reimbursement through their out-of-network benefits.
Outside of my work, I’m a proud dog mom who recharges through fitness, outdoor adventures, good books, and loud football games (Go Birds!).
