About me
I am an experienced trauma-focused provider, offering sessions for adults, children, families, and survivors of domestic or dating violence.
Hello, I'm Sydney and I'm so happy you’re here! Finding the right therapist is the first step in your mental health journey. Have you experienced crippling anxiety or depression? Are symptoms so severe they interfere with daily life and once enjoyed special interests? Do these symptoms stem from a specific traumatic event, years of generational trauma, a relationship with an unsafe person, or a child in your care who is believed/suspected to have experienced early childhood trauma? I am passionate about supporting you, your child, or your family in identifying healthy coping skills, identifying triggers, processing emotions, and more.
We can work together to heal emotional wounds through; mindfulness, breath-work, making art, listening to music, learning about the vagus nerve, traditional talk therapy, family bonding, and playing pretend/games for kids and families. With my flexible therapeutic style, we can find what works best for you and what leaves you feeling lighter after sessions!
I take pride in creating a safe space for all, and I am open to suggestions on how to best provide that for you. If you have any questions about whether I’d be a good fit for you, please feel free to reach out and we can schedule a free 15-minute consultation. Take this first step, and enter your healing era! I look forward to hearing from you!
I am currently accepting clients at both Trauma Therapy of the Carolinas Huntersville & Gastonia offices!
