About me
My mission is to enhance mental well-being while helping reduce the stigma and shame that often surround mental illness. I’m passionate about providing compassionate, evidence-based care to adolescents and adults, supporting them as they navigate life’s challenges. In my work, I address a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, stress, depression, grief and loss, adjustment disorders, mood and personality disorders, and trauma.
My approach is rooted in a client-centered philosophy, creating a safe and collaborative space where each person feels comfortable exploring both their challenges and their strengths. I believe that therapy is a partnership—one that fosters insight, resilience, and empowerment. Using a trauma-informed lens, I help clients build the tools and confidence to face life’s complexities with greater self-awareness and balance.
A key part of my mission is breaking down barriers to mental health care. I believe open conversations and education can help normalize the experience of seeking support and highlight that therapy is an important step in self-care, not a sign of weakness. I stay committed to ongoing learning and keeping up with the latest research and treatment approaches to ensure my clients receive the most effective and informed care possible.
What I value most as a therapist is forming genuine, trusting connections with my clients. I approach every session with empathy, curiosity, and respect, creating a space where individuals feel truly heard and understood. By listening deeply and honoring each person’s unique story, I strive to build relationships grounded in trust and mutual understanding. These connections become the foundation for healing, growth, and lasting positive change.
