I am an experienced mental health therapist who welcomes the opportunity to help clients discover their own strengths in the midst of struggle. I help people "metabolize" difficult experiences and cope with depression, anxiety, grief and loss, trauma, divorce, and transitions including retirement.

What a privilege to work with people open to growth and discovery. I use an Adlerian and attachment-oriented approach to working with people struggling with substance use disorder, depression, anxiety, grief and loss, trauma, divorce, surviving childhood adversities including neglect and sexual abuse. I believe that your healing is accessible and within you and that my honor is to accompany you on your journey of discovery.
I use a variety of approaches, depending on client need, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness Based Self Compassion, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy for Trauma (CPT), Motivational Interviewing, Art Therapy, Positive Psychology and Group Therapy.
Therapy is hard work. It is rewarding and can be very joyful. I seek to offer a place of safety and refuge where my clients can gently explore their values, their experiences, and what they want to contribute to and gain from living fully.
